Meet the Mascot

Howdy. My name is Carter Henry Beauford, my friends call me Carter and now you can too! I am a four year old border terrier bulldog mix. I spent the first 6 months of my life roaming the streets of St. Louis. I was picked up by a rescue organization and life got easier, better. I had no idea what was in store for me in this new place. I liked it though, friendly people, a warm bed and 2 square meals a day, all the fresh water I could drink too. Little did I know, my future parents were about to take me from street savvy to spoiled rotten! We met on July 21, 2006. My mom and dad have been adoring me ever since. I let Nicole and Andy know how much I love them by being funny, sweet, smart and well behaved. AND I never chew up anything that isn't mine.
Take some notes fellow canines: the best thing you can do to ensure this kind of spoiled rotten lifestyle is to kiss your mom and/or dad when asked, be unbelievably excited to see them when they get home and only chew on your own toys and treats.
I love my life and encourage anyone looking to add a dog to their family to check your local rescue's and shelters. All dogs deserve a spoiled rotten life, from high class breeds to mutt's like me.
